West Washmawpta Glacier, Canada

My undergraduate research is unrelated to my graduate research, as I was part of a research  group working on the glaciology of small cirque glacier in British Columbia, Canada (West Washmawapta Glacier). My research contribution was assessing proglacial hydrology, and relating it to glacial movement and surface melt over the course of two field seasons. Glacier discharge was measured in several places using a variety of techniques, and related to stream stage as measured by data loggers. I also participated in the installation and recording of campaign and continuous GPS surveys of the glacier surface and subglacial distance transducers.
